Black Forest Cuckoo Clock C1890

An attractive and slightly unusual shelf  cuckoo clock of 8 day duration.

It has a wooden posted double fusee movement. The case has been  richly carved in oak and contains the traditional vine  leaves with three nicely carved  cuckoos. The clock strikes and cuckoos on the half  hour and the hour, the bird appears though double doors and has both  moving wings and beak. The overhaul size is ht. 20" width 12" depth 8"
