This little clock was first introduced at the Great Exhibition of 1851 by Victor-Athanase Pierret, and sold for 25s.
The alarm bell is housed in the base of the clock and is wound by pulling the cord to the right. The cord to the left is used to set the alarm.
It has a porcelain dial through which can be seen the alarm disc and motion work.
The clock is of 8 day duration, and has a silk suspension.
It comes with it's original glass dome and 12 months guarantee.
