REPAIRING A BEZEL AND FRAME (plus dial) FROM AN EUREKA CLOCK

This Eureka clock had suffered a fall which had cracked the dial and bent the frame.
You can see by the pictures below the state it was in!! never- the- less well worth putting right
The first job to do was to take the clock apart and see the extent of the damage.

The bent dial frame, even pressure was applied over the frame until it was straight again.  

The straightened frame with no stress marks showing on the cast brass!

The repaired dial as good as new!!

New contact switches were made for this Eureka, the motion work repaired and a few other little jobs that needed to be done were done-- before the clock was returned to the customer
