Grasshopper Skeleton Clock
This is the clock that was serialised ( some years ago now ) by Bob Smith in the magazine The Model Engineer.
It came to me in a unfinished state missing some of it's wheels, these were made in the workshop.
The original clock was made to wind from the back but this would usually mean moving the clock to wind it !
not a good idea with this type of clock, so I converted the fusee to wind from the front, apart from that it is as Mr. Bob Smith intended.
A pleasing clock to look at with it's grasshopper escapement.
