 made by Elliott of London.- clock signed and dated 1943 on the back plate, case of mahogany with solid brass bezel.8 day movement regulated by an anchor escapement.

These types of clocks could be found in Government buildings during and after the War where a larger clock would have been easier to see than the smaller 12" dial clocks.
